One Hundred More Shades of Grey as Two Sequels Are Confirmed
With cinemas across Ireland poised to make a fortune this weekend, Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson has some major news for fans.
The film adaptation of the first book in the trilogy is set for release this week. At a preview screening event for fans on Friday, Taylor-Johnson confirmed that the film will indeed get two sequels - Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were also present for the event, but there is no official word yet on a release date or even a filming schedule for the follow-up films.
Fifty Shades of Grey was the fastest-selling advance ticket for an R-rated movie in American booking site Fandango's history, while the book trilogy has outsold the Harry Potter on Amazon.
