We are all guilty of doing it… You meet up with friends in a pub for a few sociable ones, and the first thing you do (after ordering a drink, obviously) is take out the cellular device, place it on the table and pick it up more times than you do your glass. Until now that is.
The creators of The Offline Glass claim they have designed the perfect thing to keep people off their phones and focused on the lovely, interesting folk surrounding them. Cutting out a piece from the base of the glass, it instantly transforms your mobile in to a useless coaster. Genius.
No more tweeting or annoying Facebook status updates from that friend, who wouldn't know a good time if it sent her a text message. (We all have one)
We’re not so sure if we would trust ourselves to leave a glass balancing over our beloved, precious mobiles though, at least not without insurance anyway.
