It’s time to whip out the multicoloured clothing and the bottle of vino because two of television’s greatest characters are making a comeback.
That’s right, Patsy and Eddie are headed for the big screen as actress Joanna Lumley has confirmed that Absolutely Fabulous is being made into a film.
Joanna, who plays Patsy in the show, has revealed there will be a film.
“We’ve talked about it, Jennifer (Saunders) is writing the film. Although yesterday the press were saying it’s a musical now! But whatever it is, I’ll be there,” she told the Telegraph this week.
Rumours have been circulating for months about it but Jennifer has been busy writing and promoting the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever.

Absolutely Fabulous finished up back in 2003 although it has been back for a number of specials. And while we don’t know how you feel about it sweetie, we have to say we are super excited!
