You’re guaranteed to find a good-natured Irish person ready to share their love of the mother tongue, right? That’s where you forget an innate characteristic of the Irish personality is to take the p*ss, for no better expression.

This smart-arse replied to the request, “cupán tae”, which we know, or should know at least, means “a cup of tea”.

It got us thinking, there could be some truth in his smartalek suggestion... defining love as a cup of tea? Maybe we’re reading into this too deeply but a cup of tea will always make you feel warm and fuzzy, it’s the perfect companion on a cold April evening (because we’re having plenty of them) and it will never leave you down...

Wandering thoughts aside, we’d love to see the lucky girl’s expression when she sees how her boyfriend decided to express his love for her.
