Photo of newlyweds carrying their son is absolutely heartbreaking

Amanda Cassidy

What a bittersweet moment.

Celia and Geff Kinzel brought their wedding forward when their son Logan got sick.

The two-year-old has stage four brain cancer and has endured five rounds of chemotherapy in his short life.

But if you can’t come to the wedding, sometimes the wedding has to come to you and that is exactly what the family did.

The couple married in the hospital church of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio, watched proudly by Logan and his four-year-old brother Rowan.

The hospital posted the picture, captured by Logan’s grandmother, Megan, on their Facebook page where it has gone viral with thousands sharing the heartbreaking picture.

“I was chasing them down the hallway … they were going back up to Logan’s hospital room and it was just a lucky snap of a picture. We were so happy that Logan was able to come down. It was just a nice day for Celia and Geff and a nice break from what’s really been such a difficult time”

Megan says he is a happy little boy and she wanted the picture to bring awareness to pediatric cancer as well as showing joy can be found in any situation:

“It speaks to me of bravery, love and the ability to find joy and happiness in almost any situation.”

We don’t know about you but we are now bawling crying.

Get well soon little Logan.
