So everyone will likely know his name, but will it be for the right reason?

As the final days remain for the 2016 General Election candidates to get their message across, it’s safe to say people are under pressure.

Maybe they still have more homes to canvas, people to meet, votes to secure.

Maybe they didn’t have time to have someone proof-read their election pamphlet and now you’re facing a bit of a mess…

Spotted by our brothers over at JOE.ie, Fergal O’Connell is running as an Independent candidate in Dublin Fingal, and his latest canvassing literature is drawing a second look – but for all the wrong reasons.

As well as mixing up the ‘they’re/their/there’ rule, Fine Gael got a new and unusual spelling while the overall grammar and syntax takes a creative spin.

While we’re not sure how Mr. O’Connell will poll in the elections, it’s safe to say his manifesto certainly grabbed our attention.
