Just when we thought cards were becoming a thing of the past, Christmas 2013 changed our opinion on that slightly. With the numerous Season's greetings sent to the elderly Irish man living alone in London, and to the 25-year-old man with down syndrome who just wanted a few cards for Christmasacross the pond in New York. The tradition of exchanging cards is still very much alive.
This next couple decided they would send friends a joint card this year with a bit of a difference.
The image, uploaded to reddit by user mikelem, show the pair sitting in front of a Christmas tree, wearing Santa hats.
At first glance everything seems normal, although their puzzled expressions has us wondering, and it was then that we read the text that accompanied the image.
The caption reads: "He lost an arm. She had a double mastectomy. This is their Christmas card."
