Thurman Winston was born on O.K.C., Jan 6, 1956 to Lawrance and Opah Winston he was the 5th child of six children.
So begins the oh-so-ordinary obituary of Thurman, who passed away recently. This note, published in the mass pamphlet for his memorial service, goes on to outline the big events of Thurman’s life; his school days, meeting his sweetheart, his children’s births and his days of work.
In it, Thurman is described as a loving husband and father, with a big heart open to everyone.
We suspect, though it’s not mentioned, that he was also a little bit of a joker who greatly enjoyed having the last word. Proof? Read the final line.
