Christmas is a time for peace, giving, and intense competition.
Whether it's the after-dinner game of charades or the battle to have the best jumper for the annual 12 pubs, we like to put our best face forward at this time of year.
So, when we began featuring some unusual Christmas trees in the past week, it appears we awoke some competitive streaks in our readers, and the influx of 'mine is better' emails have begun. We say, bring it on.
We're collecting snaps of your make-do Christmas trees from now until the man in red visits, so please send your best efforts to hello@her.ie.
Our latest find is this one from Bríd Larkin, who wrote in after seeing
this tree, decorated by a group of students at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.
Bríd writes:
Hello all at Her.ie! Happy Christmas!
My housemate showed me a picture on your website tonight of a student Christmas tree. While it was very nice, we think ours from our college house last year was a little more creative! :)
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Stellar effort Bríd. We salute you.
