The majority of us remember a time when we were reprimanded by one of our parents from something we said, done or didn’t do.
One father in Texas decided to make an example out of his 9-year-old son when he discovered that he was bullying other kids at school.
The boy spent the afternoon holding a sign on a main road that read, "I am a bully. Honk if you hate bullies."
Father of the boy, Jose Lagares, decided he would learn his lesson the hard way and opted for public punishment, after finding out his young son had got in trouble several times for bullying.
"Bullying is also a form of public humiliation. Maybe he understands that when he humiliates someone publicly that doesn't feel good," said Lagares. "Hopefully he'll take that with him so the next time he tries to bully someone he'll think about it twice."
Lagares says most passerbys gave him positive feedback.
