Little Wang Jiaqian was abandoned by her mother and left in an orphanage after being born with an extra limb.
The infant from Xingtai, China, was thankfully reclaimed after her parents were riddled with guilt and missed their daughter.
This incident isn’t the first occurrence in the country; last year another baby was discovered on the street with an extra leg.
Wang’s parents are now seeking donations to pay for much-needed medical treatment so that their little girl can lead a normal life.
Speaking to Rex Features, the child’s mother explained: "At birth her private parts had a fist-sized bump. And quickly the bump developed into another leg."
Hat-tip to the Huffington Post for the pic.
