Pippa Middleton is enforcing a VERY controversial rule for her wedding guests

This could seriously annoy people!

These may be modern times we’re living in, but there’s nothing like a wedding to resurrect an ancient tradition… especially where the Royal family is involved.

Rumour has it that the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton is enforcing a ‘no ring, no bring’ rule, only inviting her wedding guests to bring a partner if they are already married or engaged to them.

Yikes.

Pippa (33) will walk up the aisle with hedge fund manager James Matthews at her family’s local church, St Marks in Engelfield, on May 20th.

While it is not yet known if the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton will be in the bridal party, Pippa’s detractors have accused her of using the rule to guarantee that Prince Harry’s amour, Suits actress Meghan Markle, won’t be stealing the spotlight on the big day.

Markle caused quite the stir when she appeared on Prince Harry’s arm at the wedding of the Prince’s friend Lara Hughes-Young to ‘Skippy’ Inskip at Hopewell Baptist Church in Montego Bay at the beginning of the month.

A source told the Daily Mail that Ms Middleton may be keen to avoid a media circus:

“She saw how all eyes were on Meghan rather than Lara last week.” the insider said.

The situation was also stressful for Harry. Pippa and her mother Carole wonder whether Meghan’s presence could cause a great deal of unnecessary chaos,”
