Did your local make the list?
Much like Game of Thrones, winter is here and we’re big fans of taking refuge from the cold, wind and rain in a cosy pub. Now, what constitutes a cosy pub? Decent pints, a friendly atmosphere and some good company can always help, but in our opinion, a roaring fire can make a huge difference.
It definitely beats freezing your arse off while wishing that you were anywhere else.
With this in mind, Bord na Móna, as part of their Pubs with Hearth campaign, have conducted a survey to discover Ireland’s most beloved pubs that contain a fire
Here’s how the Top 10 looks. Had a pint in any of these places?

2. The Strand Bar, Sligo
3. The Oval Bar, Cork

5. Kellys Bar, Birr
6. Silken Thomas, Kildare Town
7. The Merry Ploughboy, Dublin
