TV talk show host Jeremy Kyle is recovering from cancer.
The 47-year-old Brit is well known for his scandalous ITV talk show featuring members of the public with multiple family issues.
Kyle underwent chemotherapy abroad after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer late last year.
News of the presenter’s ill health reached British papers this morning, and following the reports a statement was posted on the official Facebook page for Kyle’s show.
The statement read:
"Jeremy was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas. After an operation and chemotherapy treatment, I'm pleased to say he's now on the mend.
"It's been a really tough couple of months for him and his family but he wanted to let you all know that he appreciates your continuing support.
"Jeremy will be back at work next week to start filming new shows which you'll see on TV very soon."
The Jeremy Kyle Show has been a popular fixture on our television screens for over seven years, its focus on dysfunctional relationships often making for outrageous viewing.
