Harry bought Meghan the sweetest gift before their relationship was made public

This is adorable.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship pretty much seems like a perfect fairytale… and it’s about to get even sweeter.

Back in 2016, speculation that the pair were together was rife for months, and it turns out that Harry gave Meghan the sweetest gift right before they officially announced they were together.

According to PEOPLE, Harry bought an original piece of artwork called ‘Everybody Needs Somebody To Love by Van Donna for “an important person” back in the summer of 2016.

The local art collector said: “He was in the gallery for a little while and liked a few things, then settled on the Van Donna. He said he was looking for something for ‘an important person.’ It was literally just before anyone heard about Meghan — literally just days before it was announced he was going out with her.”

How sweet!

Prince Harry also recently decided against going on a grouse hunt – a royal tradition – and it’s been suggested that he declined because Meghan Markle is well-known for supporting animal welfare.

The hunt took place at Balmoral, the Queen’s Scottish residence, and according to reports, Harry didn’t go because he didn’t want to risk upsetting his wife. However, the Duchess of Cambridge brought along Prince George, and there was a lot of disagreement about it online.

There was no mention of Harry though and it’s also thought that this was part of the reason he missed another hunt which took place during Christmas 2017.
