The Head of Digital Engagement will be charged with "developing our digital communications strategy and ensure that we make effective use of a range of digital platforms to support these aims", and be based at Buckingham Palace.
"It's about never standing still and finding new ways to maintain the Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage," states an ad for the £50,000-a-year role (€63,000). "This is what makes working for the Royal Household exceptional."
The successful candidate will also head a newly-launched website and manage Her Majesty's Snapchat account (...okay we made that last bit up).
