CBS TV Studios has all of the rights to the Spelling library and is producing the project alongside the Tannenbaum Company.
The reboot itself is still in very early development with only the script for a pilot being ordered thus far.
The original series ran for eight seasons and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan.
Will we see any of the old cast make cameos or have lead roles? Who knows. What do you make of the news?
