Recipe: A Refreshing Carrot, Apple and Cucumber Smoothie

Refreshing, healthy and deliciously smooth. This smoothie’s a winner.

Carrots are famously rich in beta carotene also packing a nutritional punch including vitamins C, B3, B6, E and K, as well as other minerals. Combined with apples, cucumber and spinach this is a nutrition-fuelled drink that’ll set you up for the day.

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach (or other leafy green)
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1/2 cup water

Method:

  1. Put all of your ingredients into a smoothie blender and blitz until it has a smooth texture.
