For anyone in a long-distance relationship, this one’s for you.
Omar Kenawi and his girlfriend Sue Schlegel have been in a long-distance relationship for over a year and a half, but Omar decided to use the distance to his advantage when he planned to propose.
Sue was asked to stop by the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles as part of her marketing role on Sunday, but while she was working she was interrupted by a crowd of a-capella singers.
The group just happened to sing ‘Seasons of Love’ from her favourite musical Rent, and then Omar walks out midway through the rendition having made some alterations of his own to the lyrics.
She of course said yes.
