Sorry, but a restaurant is paying people $100 an hour to play with puppies

Please.

If there is one thing in this god forsaken world that makes life slightly less difficult, disgusting, and generally harrowing, it’s puppies.

They’re soft, they’re lovely, they won’t care if you forgot to take the washing in or leave the wheelie bin out or haven’t showered in the last three days.

They’re just the nicest things and we are very big fans.

Such big fans, in fact, that we’d almost be tempted to move all the way to Texas to avail of a restaurant’s ‘Pupternship’ – a programme where they’re paying people legitimate money to play with puppies all day.

Honestly, like. The dream.

The Pupternship, which is then by extension full of ‘Pupterns’, is running at a place called MUTTS Canine Cantina.

According to Bustle, they’re offering $100 an hour to play with the puppies that show up at the restaurant. The Puptern will also avail of food and drink – for free.

MUTTS is a restaurant that allows owners to be joined by their fluffy friends while they wine and dine so the food they’re offering will absolutely be very decent too.

Just gets better and better, doesn’t it?

The only requirements are that you’re over the age of 18 and aren’t allergic to dogs. Oh, and the small matter of living in Texas, but whatever, that’s hardly an issue.

Still applying, to be honest.
