Apparently, the Queen, Prince Harry, Prince William, and the Duchess of Cambridge have been forced again and again to tell adoring fans that they simply cannot sign their name for them.
Prince Charles has even been heard saying "sorry, they don't allow me to do that" when someone asked him for his autograph a few years back.
But the reason behind this seemingly weird rule actually makes a lot of sense.
It is thought that the ban exists to ensure that nobody forges any of the royal's signatures.
Prince Charles is (apparently) the only member of the family to break this rule.
Back in 2010, he scrawled his name on a piece of paper that a flood victim asked him to sign in Cornwall.
He then apologised for his handwriting saying that he never writes standing up.
