David McCullagh has been announced as Pat Kenny’s successor on flagship RTÉ current affairs show Prime Time.
Political Correspondent for the station, McCullagh will join two of RTÉ’s leading ladies, Miriam O'Callaghan and Claire Byrne, to present the show, which airs on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights on RTÉ One.
Dublin born McCullagh has been a Political Correspondent for the national broadcaster since 2001.

Managing Editor RTÉ Current Affairs, David Nally said of the appointment: "David has shown himself to be one of the most knowledgeable and thorough journalists in RTÉ as well as being a broadcaster of proven excellence.
The new series of Prime Time begins this Thursday night with coverage of the latest in Syria and a debate on the Irish banking system.
