Last year, a new dating show put a call out for some single country folk who were struggling to meet people because of their rural location.
Whether due to work commitments or simply just living in an extremely rural part of the country, sometimes it can be difficult to meet people.
It could be even more difficult if you feel like all of the fish in the sea have simply passed you by.
But never fear, because RTÉ are doing their utmost to match some city slickers up with some rural folk, in the hope that they fall in love and move their entire lives across the country for that special someone.
The channel have already casted their countryside singles and are currently on the hunt for some big smoke folk to fall in love with them.

Kite Entertainment, the lads behind Gogglebox Ireland and Ireland’s Fittest Family, are looking to chat to some people who are interested in swapping the M50 for some country air, or the dart for the tractor.
Essentially, they’re in the market for some people who are willing to relocate their entire lives for romance.
