Ryan is going from being in front of the camera to behind it.
According to the Hollywood Reporter Gosling and his financial backers are hoping the idea will be picked up at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.
As well as writing and directing the film, Gosling will also be producing the flick which is said to be a combination of fantasy noir and suspense.
The only thing he won’t be doing by the sounds of it is starring in the movie which will undoubtedly make everyone sad because let’s face it, who doesn’t like to look at that gorgeous face of his?
But back to the film, the story apparently focuses on a single mum called Billy thought to be played by star of Mad Men Christina Hendricks.
By the sounds of it, it's going to be good, just like its creator!
