A photograph of a bride kneeling beside her father’s gravestone on her wedding day has gone viral.
Paige Eding, who married her other half Kevin earlier this month, decided to pay a visit to her father Mark Winia who passed away unexpectedly in 2011. Understandably, it got quite emotional.
Photographer Kari Wieringa, who took the picture, told the Huffington Post: “It all seemed pretty normal, she looked fine, and so we’re standing there and I’m ready to take pictures and she just fell.”
The moving picture was then shared on Zander & Breck Photography’s Facebook page and, as of today, has over 700,000 ‘likes’ along with more than 35,000 shares.
The caption reads: “I was so kindly given permission to share this photo with you all. I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful wedding last weekend. Before any photos were to begin she wanted to make a stop to the cemetery to visit her dad who had recently passed away. I'm not much of a cryer for those of you who know me, but when she hit her knees, tears streamed down my face. What a beautiful thing to incorporate in her day. Thanks for letting me be a part of this amazing day!”
