Rumours from X Factor UK's counterpart across the pond are flying once again... and it's all to do with Cheryl.
Apparently music mogul Simon Cowell is hopeful that Cheryl Cole will consider moving back to the States to take part in the show, the Daily Mirror reports.
Now, why would she keep Cowell happy after him ditching her from the US show's first series?
The former Girls Aloud singer was sacked from X Factor USA after just a few weeks and reploaced with Nicole Scherzinger.
Cheryl openly said Simon had a lot of making up to do.

Cheryl was sacked from the US reality TV show in May 2011.
“Simon would love to have Cheryl back. They’re chatting more and more at the moment and he’s hopeful she might be up for coming back. She’s still spending a lot of time in the States and wants to move out there so it’d looking more likely to be on the cards,” a source tells The Mirror.
Cheryl has filed a lawsuit against X Factor USA’s production company Blue Orbit for lost earnings of £1.25 million plus other costs, which surely presents a bit of a hiccup.
