The Bourne Legacy has been knocked off the number one perch by none other than The Expendables 2.
The action flick, which stars some of Hollywood’s most beefed up men, flew to the top of the US box office during its opening weekend.

It is estimated that the film took over 25 million dollars in America and an extra 17.3 million across the water.
And it's no surprise considering the A-list cast it has. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and Jason Statham are just a few of the big names.
Jeremy Renner and The Bourne Legacy really didn't stand a chance. The film, based on the Bourne trilogy starring Matt Damon, dropped down to number two despite bringing in 17 million dollars in its second weekend.
