Social media can be a powerful thing – especially when you lose something that’s full of sentimental meaning as this story shows.
The Huffington Post reports that Instagram users have banded together to reunite a little boy with his lost teddy.
Filmmaker Jason Ho was taking a walk along the Venice Canals in Lost Angeles when he came across a lonely stuffed bunny lying on the path. An avid photographer, Jason immediately took out his phone, snapped a picture of the bunny and uploaded it to Instagram.

A few hours after he had uploaded the picture, Jason noticed that he had been tagged by another Instagram user in a post about a lost bunny.

The drawing of the bunny had inspired another Instagram user to do a search about stuffed animals and they randomly stumbled across Jason’s picture of the bunny.
Another user was able to connect Jason with little Max’s parents. He immediately sent the family a map of where he had found the bunny and the following day, Jason was tagged in another post:

The bunny was a present to Max from his granny who had sadly passed away. According to Jason this “made it a double-happy ending.”
This story just proves that there really are some kind-hearted people out there. We're delighted Max and his bunny have been reunited!
