There's nothing worse than when you're in a hurry and your computer is taking FOREVER to shut down. However, according to the experts, there's a much quicker way to escape the waiting game. Simply tap (but don't hold down) the Windows key, then click the right hand directional arrow and then hit return. This works for Windows 7 but if you have Windows 8, click on the desktop and then click Alt-F4. Tech experts Ghacks say: “While you can use mouse and keyboard to shut down Windows, you can achieve the same goal using the keyboard. “This is often faster as you need to hit a combination of keys without touching the mouse at all. “The main issue here is that the sequence is different depending on the operating system you are using".
