Coronation Street is saying goodbye to another familiar face as it has been revealed Sue Johnston is leaving the show.
The actress, who has played Gloria Price since September, will apparently be waving goodbye to the Rovers Return next Spring.

Sue Johnston is leaving the popular soap.
Apparently the 69-year-old star is eager to pursue other projects however show bosses have said they will be keeping the door open for her.
A spokesperson told The Sun: “Bosses hoped to keep her for longer, but understand she wants to do other things. But they have no intention of killing Gloria off.”

Her final scenes will air early next year.
They added: “Sue will be on screen until early spring 2014 when Gloria will leave Weatherfield for the time being."
But it’s not all bad news for the show's fans as Beverly Callard will be returning as Liz McDonald in October of this year.
