Someone in Dublin is laughing their way to the bank this morning after placing a huge bet on Trump earlier this week. Boylesports had to suspend betting yesterday after someone placed €22,000 on Trump to win at 7/2.
It followed two previous large bets, €10,000 at 7/2 and €12,000 at 3/1.
Boylesports announced the news yesterday saying, “The bet on Tuesday lunchtime is the biggest bet we have seen for Donald Trump in the US Presidential Election so far."
They also added, "He is now hitting close to a €250K loser in the book. After getting it wrong with the Brexit outcome, a Trump victory would now certainly be the worst political result faced by traders at BoyleSports for many a year."
Someone in London is also very happy this morning after placing a bet of £200,000 for Trump to win.
