For years women have been telling men that when it comes to their trouser department, size definitely does not matter. Eh…unfortunately ladies it seems like we’re going to have to eat our words because according to a new study, size is everything.
Some new research published in the noted Journal of Sexual Medicine, states that women who say they have “frequent vaginal orgasms” are more likely to climax if their partner is on the, ahem, bigger side.
Psychologist Stuart Brody from the University of West Scotland quizzed 323 women about their past sexual encounters, penile-vaginal intercourse and whether or not the length of their partner’s bits had an influence on their ability to have an orgasm.
Dr Brody discovered that women who had the most orgasms were more likely to say that size matters when it comes to sex.
“This might be due at least in part to greater ability of a longer penis to stimulate the entire length of the vagina, and the cervix,” Dr Brody concluded.

We have to say we feel for all the men out there after hearing this news...
It probably goes without saying that Dr Brody’s research has been met with conflicting reviews. In fact, it is currently the topic of a very heated debate. While some believe that size definitely is key when it comes to sex, others insist that it doesn’t matter.
Here in the Her.ie office we’re inclined to think that as long as you have a healthy sexual relationship with your other half and that both of you are happy with what goes down in the bedroom, size is pretty much irrelevant.
