When it comes to budgeting your money are you an expert or could you, like many of us, do with a little help in this department?
We all know that running a family home in modern Ireland can be pretty tough. When you take taxes, loans, bills and all the other expenses into account, mapping out your finances and figuring out your own personal budget can be majorly confusing.
For the next five days, we’ll be bringing you the top five budgeting tools online that will hopefully help you to make some plans when it comes to your finances. The best thing about these budgeting tools? They’re all available online, they’re super-easy to use and, most impotantly, they’re free of charge.
Are you ready to start saving money?
___________
Is 2013 the year that you take control of your personal finances?
What is it called?
The MABS Budgeting Tool.
What does it do?
Like all personal budgeting tools, the MABS tool is an interactive application that shows you where your money is going every single month in terms of expenses. Although, it also offers you advice on how you can increase your income and reduce your outgoings.
How do I use it?
The MABS budgeting tool is designed to be educational as well as easy to use. When you decide to use it, it handily opens up in a new window (which is perfect if you have to check your online banking accounts). You are taken through every single step as it happens and a thorough explanation is given to you, so you understand exactly what you’re doing as you do it.
It’s very user-friendly and the explanation is dotted with helpful information about what personal budgets actually are and how they can benefit your current financial situation.
What is its best feature?
We love the MABS spending diary feature. This feature allows you to track your spending habits for two weeks before you fill out your personal budget, meaning that you’ll be able to see what kind of a spender you are and where the majority of your money goes every single month. It’s very helpful.
Where can I find more information about it?
