If you find it difficult to begin the day without a morning Starbucks, you might be interested to know that the coffee brand has plans to make hot drinks more expensive.
The Associated Press reports that prices stateside are set to increase by up to 20 per cent per “affected beverage” although some drinks will only increase by up to five or ten cent.
Although there isn’t any confirmation yet on what these increases will mean for our pockets, it’s safe to say your daily Americano/latte/espresso is likely to cost you a little bit more.
A statement released by the company said that Starbucks tend to evaluate their prices in order to “balance the need to run our business profitably while continuing to provide value to our loyal customers and to attract new customers”.
