She was hotly tipped to be one of the stars joining the revamped X Factor panel but there are reports today that Rita Ora has turned down a substantial offer to join the reality show.
It’s understood that X Factor bosses felt the controversial How We Do singer would give a much-needed boost to the flagging show but The Mirror is reporting that Ora has turned down the £1m deal, fearing that it could damage her thriving pop career.
The 23-year-old, who is currently dating DJ and producer Calvin Harris, was allegedly worried by the poor performance of Jessie J’s album following her stint on The Voice and has chosen to concentrate on her music for the foreseeable future.
Ora was well received when she appeared on the panel back in 2012 as a guest judge.
