A new study has revealed that the average woman spends over five hours a week taking selfies (that’s a serious amount of Game of Thrones that you could be watching).
According to The Mirror a recent survey found that those aged between 16 and 25 are the most prolific selfie-takers and can spend up to 48 minutes a day prepping and taking the perfect picture.
How? It seems doing your makeup, getting the lighting just right and finding the perfect angle takes quite a lot of time.
The average woman apparently takes three selfies a day, leading to a grand total of five hours and 36 minutes a week on the activity.
The study also found that the majority of women link their self-esteem to how well received their photos are with over half saying that a good selfie can help boost their mood.
The survey was commissioned by www.feelunique.com and included 2,000 women between the ages of 16 and 25.
