He makes a mean cup of tea, he's game for a sing-song and he likes the ladies looking casual - but would he strip for a shoot? This week Her.ie sat down to talk tea, tunes, and threads with Tommy Bowe.

Hello Tommy, team Her.ie are very big fans…
You're sporting some nice new threads – tell us about your partnership with PUMA?
I have been with Puma for around 8 years now and it’s a relationship that I have always loved. They always have great boots and cool clothes like the new ‘Easy rider’ range at the moment.
We've been studying your pictures (research!). You make a lovely model… Do you enjoy photoshoots?
No it’s not something I really enjoy, sometimes it’s a bit of fun but I do not think I make a good model!
Would you ever do a 'Reverse Rosanna' and strip off for a ladies magazine?
No I think I’d give that a miss, there’s not quite an equivalent of playboy for men is there?
(Editor's note: I think you'll find that there is - we could put you in touch...)
How would you describe your own personal style?
I would say my style is very relaxed, I spend most of my days in gym or training gear so I enjoy getting into my jeans.
And when it comes to the ladies… Do you prefer dressed to the nines or casual and cool?
Definitely I like the casual and cool look on girls.
Tommy likes ladies cool and casual, just like the man himself...
Speaking of the ladies (see how neatly we did that) are you currently loved up?
Yes I have a girlfriend at the moment!
You've very popular with Irish women, have you ever had any weird moments with a superfan?
I have had a few strange requests, but mostly all people I meet are really cool.
What's the masterplan post-rugby? (If you haven't got one yet you can come work with us here, we make a lovely cup of tea?)
I make a great cuppa too, so that is an offer I may have to take up. If it’s not on a rugby pitch I’m not really going to be much use for anything else!
You could always opt for a music career? What's your party piece?
Other than The Black Velvet Band of course… I always enjoy a sing song when I have a few beers although I usually lose my voice pretty early in the night so that puts an end to that!
Tommy, you can serenade us any time...
