It’s official: Michelle Obama has joined Twitter! Now we don’t know about you, but we’re dying to see what kind of tweets she starts sending (we’re also hoping they’re a cute/funny as her hubby’s).
The Daily Beast reports that FLOTUS, the office of the First Lady of the United States, joined the social networking website this morning (American time) and send the first tweet at 8.35am.
So what did Michelle have to say to the world? Well, she didn’t say anything herself, but someone from her office tweeted the following:

Mrs Obama already has over 12,000 followers and the number is growing by the minute.
Michelle’s hubby, President Barack Obama, regularly logs on to Twitter to send messages and live-tweet from the oval office. He's also a fan of posting ridiculously cute pictures of himself and Michelle. Exhibit A:
