It doesn’t matter where you come in your family, there are always pros and cons, although we do reckon the middle child probably does get the shortest straw.
Here are the five trials of being the middle child...
1. Hand-me-downs
We’ve come to accept that we will never get new clothes but honestly a six-year-old girl in the clothes of a 13-year-old boy is a bit ridiculous.
2. Strict curfews
The younger ones get it so easy!
3. Blamed for everything
It doesn’t matter if we weren’t in the country never mind the house when it happened, it was our fault.
4. The expectation
Setting us up for disappointment before we’ve even started.
5. Presents
On the off chance we actually get them, they’re usually very disappointing or meant for our siblings.
