The Weather Forecast For Paddy’s Day Is In And It’s Not Half Bad

Great news.

Cathy Donohue

The weather is relatively good at the minute and that looks set to continue for the next few days.

This will come as welcome news for anyone taking part in St Patrick’s Day festivities this Thursday.

According to Met Éireann, Paddy’s Day 2016 will be a “dry day” with both cloudy periods and sunny spells.

Although the morning might be cold to start off with, afternoon temperatures of 8 to 11 C. are expected.

As for tomorrow, the national forecaster says we should see “clear spells” but there could be mist and fog in places with a “south to southeast breeze”.

However, the outlook for Monday to Wednesday is pretty good with temperatures above average by day, with highs of 12 to 14 C.

Nights will be a little colder but as long as the rain holds off, we can deal with that.
