The Rubberbandits are headed for Channel 4 with their comedy pilot as part of the station’s new series 4Funnies.
It will feature new songs and sketches from the Limerick duo as well as appearances from Love/Hate star Laurence Kinlan and Rose Henderson from Father Ted.

Laurence Kinlan is just one of the famous faces due to make an appearance.
Blind Boy Boat Club and Mr Chrome were asked to do the pilot after impressing with their online clips and past shorts for the channel.
The pilot, which is due to air next Friday night (November 30th) as directed by Declan Lowney whose previous credits include Father Ted and Moone Boy.

Speaking about the show Blind Boy Boat Club told RTÉ: “It was a laugh making TV for the craic and tans… We like to call the British the Craic and Tans now, because we’ve had so much fun performing for them.”
4Funnies will air on Channel 4 on Friday 30th November at 11.15pm.
