In the mid-90s, in primary schools across the land, a fashion frenzy was taking place.
From the white leather style to the shiny black patent variety, Clarks Magic Steps were the shoe of choice and if you were lucky enough to have a pair, chances are you spent breaktimes prancing around pretending to be a princess.
