We all remember the days of heading off to the beach as kids with our bucket and spade to create some masterpieces.
Yes, whether you could never get a solid top or used the bucket-tap method to create something impressive, sandcastle building was peak summer fun.
However, our base level skills would not be able to rival this piece of serious architecture.

The world’s tallest sandcastle has been built in the German city of Duisburg and stands at 54.72 feet tall.
Using 3,500 tonnes of sand, the impressive structure was built on a former steelworks site.
The castle was officially measured by the Guinness World Records last week and has now taken the title from the 48.69 footer built earlier this year in India.
