Have you noticed this?
As you may know, Samsung recently issued an alert telling people to switch their ‘Note 7’ devices off and unsurprisingly, people are seriously annoyed with the brand.
The safety alert comes after a number of Note 7 phones went on fire and since then the company has issued the above alert and requested that “carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note 7”.
People are questioning something else in relation to Samsung although thankfully it is nowhere near as serious as a phone bursting into flames.
Twitter user @DHowett noticed something bizarre about the fingers crossed emoji, the “Hand With Index and Middle Fingers Crossed emoji” to be precise,
the hand appears to have six fingers.
The tweet was then posed by Emojipedia and picked up by other Twitter users and a number of publications too.
Emojipedian @DHowett noticed something odd about this new emoji from Samsung. Can you spot it? https://t.co/47QKPgfOpG pic.twitter.com/NQtCwxFhk9

People aren’t quite sure what the story is with this but a couple of people think they the answer, which you can see below. Ouch Samsung, OUCH.
@Emojipedia @DHowett a spare finger for when your phone blows up

@Emojipedia @DHowett Presumably so when it explodes in your hand you can fall back on a solid five.

Others pointed out the fact that this emoji resembles the hand of man who killed Inigo Montoya’s father in novel The Princess Bride, published in 1973 and written by William Goldman.
