We’ve all had those nightmares about creepy porcelain dolls coming to life.
Well, these dolls by Russian sculptor Michael Zajkov are so realistic looking it's hard to believe they’re not alive. They are made with an astounding level of delicacy and expertise.
The artist is a graduate of Graphic Arts from the Kuban State University of Russia with a specialization in sculpture. While in graduate school, Michael began working as a sculptor in puppet theater.
Working with different types of polymer clay, Michael to make the most realistic, emotional dolls, and endeavours to create a character in each one.
He first exhibited to the public at the fourth international exhibition "Art Dolls" in Moscow in December 2013. He brought five dolls which stole the show.
