It is absolutely freezing today
(check these snow pics) and judging by the weather forecast, it's only going to get colder over the coming days.
Wintry showers, complete with bits of snow hitting you smack bang in the face, are set to continue today and tomorrow, with frost setting in tomorrow night.
According to
Met Éireann, Sunday will be "a very cold day" and eastern areas in particular will experience frost.
Rain, sleet and snow are expected on Sunday night but thankfully, Monday will be dry (dry but cold).
Long story short, you're going to need the scarves and gloves for another while yet!
