They say that size doesn’t matter. They also say that money can’t buy you happiness. But there are a few who will be hoping that both of these statements are wrong in the hope of selling the largest and most expensive television in Ireland.
The LG 84 inch Ultra HD TV can only be described as a beast of a television but whoever wants it will have to empty their pockets as it costs a whopping €27,000. And yes, we can think of a million other things that we would rather spend that money on!
The 84 inch TV is so big, you'd probably need a whole room for it!
But anyway the television, which is exclusively available in the Harvey Norman stores in Carrickmines in Dublin, is like something out of a James Bond film.
As well as a remote with voice recognition technology, its content can be accessed via mobile phone and laptop.
The old sets just don't compare really... although they cost A LOT less.
Speaking about it, Harvey Norman spokesman Cathal McGee told the Irish Examiner that it’s the “most technologically advanced TV” on the Irish market.
Don’t get us wrong, we would love to have a mini cinema screen in our house but we reckon a trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida to see the ninth ‘secret’ film sounds a little more appealing and much more affordable!
