It’s late in the day and maybe we’re a bit emotional, but this short about a girl and her BFF snowman has just warmed the cockles of our hearts.
The short
Lily and The Snowman has been made by Cineplex. Co-directors Jason Patterson and Dan Abdo say the story is intended to remind people of the magic of cinema and story telling.
Dan says: “When you’re a kid and you go to the movies, it’s this magical experience. As you grow up you can forget about that, especially as modern life gets in the way”.
Jason continues, “The most important thing about cinema; it creates a connection in people. I think the heart of the story is the bond you have as a child are important sources of inspiration and magic. They’re always there”.
The backing track is provided by Canadian singer Adaline.
