A woman pretended to be drunk in broad daylight to gauge men’s reactions to her. For the social experiment an actress took to the streets of Madrid at 5.30pm with a bottle of beer. When men approached her, she told them she had had a lot to drink and their reactions might shock you. Then again, they might be what you expect. In the 10-minute video, uploaded to YouTube, some of the men encourage the woman to drink more while others try to take her somewhere. At the beginning the director explains: “What you are about to see is something more than just a simple social experiment. “This particular situation poses many questions… what could happen, for example, on a Friday or Saturday night? Will men help her? Let's see what happens.” He then appears at the end, concluding: “Most of you are probably surprised and some of you also disgusted and maybe you are thinking that we have avoided some scenes favouring the most "juicy" parts, but I am afraid to deceive you. “It really was the opposite. Those situations full of rudeness and physical abuse were taken away because there is no need to show it in such depth. “The most disappointing fact is that we had no need to edit the video. Why? Because nobody got close to helping this drunken woman.”
