Speaking to the Daily Mail, Brian said:
"I wanted to create a perfect Disney scene, where a charming prince would woo his princess by riding up on his trusty steed and proposing in front of a castle.”
Staying true to his word, Brian arranged custom-made tailored costumes of Anna’s coronation dress and Hans’ outfit, hired a castle, arrived on a horse and even organised an intimate banquet for the two of them inside.
Leaving the dress in her home with instructions where to meet him, Brian maintains it was a surprise proposal on their fourth anniversary.
"I rode up on Romeo [the horse], dismounted and proposed to her beside the castle, under a vine arch.”
Sealing the deal was a love poem he wrote for Michelle, which read:
Michelle Lynn,
You are my best friend
The one that I love
sent from God above
You're gorgeous and smart
You've stolen my heart
To you, no one compares
and so this I swear:
To love you until forever
To work for us together
To serve you selflessly
and cherish you eternally
So now I ask of you
To make my dreams come true
and make me the happiest man
By giving me your hand
Michelle, will you marry me?
As with all fairytales, there was a happy ending. Michelle of course said yes.
If this is the proposal, we can’t wait to see the wedding.
But for now, we’ll settle for this lip syncing duet to Love Is An Open Door. Naturally.
